How this structure works
The FEFCO 0210 – Straight Tuck End Box is generated as a tuck carton mechanism. Packeri rebuilds panel spans, rule junctions, flap depths, root relief and receiver relationships from the selected dimensions and measured material caliper.
Best uses
Pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, supplements and compact retail products.
Materials and allowances
Corrugated and microflute constructions need flute-specific score allowance, slot width, compression and manufacturer-joint calibration.
Engineering notes
- CUT and CREASE geometry remain separate production layers.
- Body folds terminate before knife intersections where the mechanism requires root relief.
- Glue appears as guidance text and metadata, never as a misleading shaded production polygon.
- Receiver slots, tongues, dust flaps and closure members respond to material thickness.
Limitations
Software geometry cannot certify tooling, folding equipment, adhesive pattern, packed-product loads, compression, board batch or print-finishing behavior. Prototype and converter approval are required before mass production.
Frequently asked questions
Are the dimensions internal or external?
The generator supports a dimension basis and reports compensated score spans. Final converter allowances override generic defaults.
Can I export production files?
Active Pro accounts can export clean SVG, PDF and DXF from the same normalized geometry used for preview.
Does this replace a packaging converter?
No. It accelerates structure development and communication. Tooling and mass production still require material-specific converter approval.
